The parent-teacher conference is an important event in your child’s education every year. During the conference, you will receive information about your child’s performance in English Language Arts based on classroom assessments and daily work, the curriculum areas where your child excels, and any areas in need of strengthening or improvement. The teacher will also discuss the important learning behaviors that support your child’s continued success in school. The parent-teacher conference is an excellent support to your child’s academic achievement and another way for you to learn about the expectations and curriculum standards in your child’s grade level.
