Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) for Grades 3 and 5

The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) measures student academic abilities and is useful for educators to make course and academic program placements for students. This test is given to all third and fifth graders as one measure for possible GT placements

CogAT Testing

  • Testing window is 12/4- 12/15
  • Tuesday 12/5, Wednesday 12/6 & Friday 12/8
  • Grade 3 @ 9:30-10:20/10:35
  • Grade 5 @ 10:45-11:35/11:50
  • Make ups will take place 12/11-12/15
