A School Improvement Plan (SIP) is an evidence-based plan aimed to provide a unified vision for our school. It assesses needs and outlines strategies and approaches to resolve any gaps. At DRES we use our school improvement plan to close the achievement gap, address low performance and create equity in classrooms. Our school improvement plan is aligned with the HCPSS systemic focus areas.
We value input from our students, staff, parents, and community. Our School Improvement Team consists of school-based leaders, community members, and interested staff who focus our efforts on ensuring that DRES students make progress towards being College and Career Ready.
We invite you to review our 2024-25 School Improvement Plan Snapshot for this school year in English and the 2024-2025 School Improvement Plan Snapshot in Spanish.
If you have any suggestions, questions, or feedback about our School Improvement Plan, or if you would like to know how you can be involved in school improvement please feel free to contact Nigel La Roche at nigel_laroche@hcpss.org.
