Good morning,

Yesterday we learned that many of our 5th graders are part of a “DRES ONLY” group on Tik Tok.  Students are making fun of other students using “Mr. Men” and “LIttle Miss” characters.  We also found that students are secretly taking pictures of other students during the school day and sharing the pictures in the “DRES ONLY” group.  

These actions are against school system policies and are disrupting the learning environment at school.  We are continuing to investigate what we learned today to determine the social media sites being used, as well as the students involved.   If your child has a phone, please check their photos and their social media accounts.  Delete anything that could be considered bullying. As a reminder, students in elementary school should keep their phones at home, or they must be off and in their backpacks while at school.
