Girl Scout Brownie Troop #5203 will be sponsoring two recycling projects through Terracycle, as part of their own service and efforts to give back to their community.   Please help the Brownies and the Deep Run Green School Certification programs.

 

1) The girls will be collecting all used toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, toothpaste cartons, toothbrush outer packaging, and floss containers.  You can drop them into the box in the hallway by the front door anytime up until the end of February. 

*Please note: Electric toothbrushes, battery toothbrushes, and/or their parts are not recyclable through the program.*

 

2) Foil-lined energy bar wrappers, granola bar wrappers, meal replacement bar wrappers, protein bar wrappers, diet bar wrappers; wrappers and pouches from Clif Bars, Luna Bars, MOJO, Builders, Crunch, and Kits Organic.  The children can put these in the box in the cafeteria when they are finished with their lunches, instead of the trash.  The girls will be collecting these until the end of February as well.
