Commit to the HCPSS Digital Education Center for 21-22 by May 5th
The Howard County Public School System is planning for a full-time online option for students entering grades K-12 who wish to learn virtually for the 2021-2022 school year. Once finalized, the Digital Education Center (DEC) program will give students the opportunity to take classes and earn credits virtually, while receiving support services from both the DEC and their assigned home school. DEC students will continue to be enrolled in their assigned home school and will be able to participate in athletics and activities at that school if/as schedules and transportation allows. A Message from PTA About Staff Appreciation Week--May 3-7
The staff at Deep Run are amazing and they have been doing an awesome job supporting our children in such a crazy time. We really want to show the staff how great they are during Staff Appreciation Week and how much the community really does appreciate them! The PTA is hoping that you might be willing to donate some gift cards for a gift basket raffle or sponsor a lunch for the Deep Run Staff.
Staff appreciation week will be May 3-7. If you would like to participate in supporting our staff please sign up on our Signup Genius! All items can be dropped off at the office of Deep Run Elementary before April 30th at 4pm.
Yearbook Orders
We will have a yearbook for the 20-21 school year! Students who come to school in groups A, B, and E will receive a paper order form. Yearbooks can also be ordered on line by going to https://www.strawbridge.net/ and using the code FMYB108429. Yearbooks are $15 each.
Free Food on Saturdays in April and May
Free Food Distribution: Families will receive a box of food that contains 30.5 pounds of fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, and meat. The distribution will take place at Long Reach High School and Ducketts Lane Elementary School, 6501 Ducketts Lane, Elkridge, MD 21075, from 9:30-11:00.
